Default Onsapping to 'dragged state' points

In Land Desktop, when you would drag a point label away from it's marker, Osnap would snap to the marker if you highlighted the label. This is very usefull for tight groups of points and I can't seem to figure out how to do it in C3D?

Is it possible or something that was left out?

Do you mean the label had a "grip" you could grab and now it doesn't?

I don't know anything about C3D, but it sounds like whatever creates the entity (block) has it "locked", possibly a setting you could change, or something you could modify under the "block" category after the fact.

When drawing lines, in our old Land Desktop, Osnap would be able to snap to the point marker (the +) by mousing over the point label. I can't find an option to toggle that functionality in C3D.

    Is that "+" a node?
If so, you can set your running osnaps to "node"

..or is it a block with an insertion point?

    If neither, I dunno.

Yea the + is a node, but I want the osnap to snap to the node even if I mouse over the description.

If I have 20 nodes that are packed tight, say in a utility cluster in a sub division, it's much easier to draw lines to the nodes when you only have to mouse to the description.

Sometimes the NODE osnap will work for the description, but sometimes it won't. I have not been able to figure that one out. It might have something to do with the way the label style is created. Or maybe it has something to do with the phases of the moon.

But there's also the 'PO transparent command. That one will let you pick any part of the label, and it will snap to the node. The 'PO transparent command is a little bit different from the NODE osnap, though, in that it will use the point elevation for the Z-value, even if you have the option for "Flatten Points" set.
