Default Custom curtain wall panels on curved and slanted curtain walls/systems

Is there a way to apply custom curtain wall panels on a curved and slanted curtain system? Anytime I change the curtain panels to any custom curtain panel, regardless of the shape or size, I get the "can't make type xxx panel" message. Even when the curtain wall/system is straight but the edges are at an angle, i won't create it.

Can you post an image of what your curtain system looks like?

Here are a few images of a simple coned shaped mass and a mass with a sloped face. On the cone shaped mass you can only apply a curtan system with system panels. On the other mass, the curtan system/wall is partially created but at the sloped edge, the custom panels are replaced with systems panels.
