I am having an problem with hydroflow accepting an xml from 2007 Civil 3d. I can take a hydroflow xml to c3d and a c3d xml to another c3d file just not from c3d to hyrdoflow. Any ideas

When you create your pipes, make sure you draw them in the downstream direction. Don't know why this is important but if you draw them upstream, the import into hydraflow won't work.
Get your hands on XML Notepad and open the LandXML file.
Look at each of your structures - be sure there is no more than ONE out per structure - this is the leading cause of Hydraflow import errors. This is typically caused by not having the flow direction correct in Civil 3d.
There are a number of Civil 3d styles that can help "visualize" this flow before you export.

That was the problem. I had drawn the pipes from downstream to upstream.
You can just reverse the flow direction instead of redrawing the pipes... right?
No. The flow in the pipes may be in the correct direction but the pipes have to be drawn from the top down.
That's weird. It works fine inside of Civil 3D but it doesn't recognize the change in Hydraflow. You're right though. I purposely drew two pipes backwards and then changed the pipe properties "Flow direction method" to "End to start" and it labels everything correct in C3D but gives an error on the hydraflow import. Good to know.
