Default ACAD MEP 2009 Object Enablers for ACAD LT 2009

I'm trying to make the switch for the CAD department to AutoCAD MEP 2009.

My problem is, our engineers are using AutoCAD LT 2009 and I can't seem to get the object enablers to install.

I downloaded this, but it gives me an error stating the proper software is not found.

    Any ideas?

    Hi seventwo,

It doesn't look like the MEP object enabler for LT is available yet.

The 2008 LT Object Enabler can be found here.

You might try loading it. It looks like the link you provided is for Vanilla CAD and not LT.

    Hope this helps,

Thumbs down Re: ACAD MEP 2009 Object Enablers for ACAD LT 2009

    Seventwo,

The autodesk website said to contact my reseller for infomation on the object enablers.
My reseller told me to contact Autodesk.

Autodesk then told me to contact my reseller....and around we go!
    Talk about customer no-service.

Finally I was advised thruough my reseller that they could not say when
the object enablers for AutoCAD Lt 2009 would be released and that I
should continue to use 2008 until the enablers are available.

The problem is I spent a day at the jobsite to get them set up using 09 and
    they don't have 08.

The concensus is that we wasted our money.
    We shall see....
Maybe I should switch to using Revit...although it isn't ready either.

I spoke with my reseller and we found where the object enablers are for the 09 products. Unfortunately, I do not see anything for the LT versions.

Here's the website I am looking at:

Keep in mind if you have a 32 bit system or a 64 bit system you'll have to choose the correct item to download.

    Thanks all, for your input...

    That's a no-go on the ACAD 2008 enabler.

    Ugh!
