Field Book problems

I have searched the discussion groups and still can not find a solution to my problem.

When I use insert field book my symbols are not inserted into AutoCAD. AutoCAD inserts default symbols on the current layer.

Using the insert points routine the symbols come in on the right layer with the right symbol.

Line work comes in fine.

What am I missing?

You did remember to select the proper descriptor key file under "Labels"/"Edit Label Styles"/Point Label Styles"/"Descriptor Key File"?
Other than that, double check that your *.mdb file is properly loaded in the Prototype file that you used when setting up your project.
You have to create your own descriptor key file. It is not the same file the blocks load from.
If you haven't done that, let me know and I will try to talk you through it. It's not too complicated.
