    Default Workset Editing Alert

I should know this but it's eluding me. I'm trying to get Revit to post a realtime alert for when someone is requesting a workset edit. Right now, I need to shout to the person across the room to "Grant" my request. He doesn't see a pop-up alert that tells him that is request is being made. It would be great if the requesrt just popped up as an alert, is this possible using the Worksharing Monitioring tool?

    Thx.

This is exactly what the worksharing monitor is for. Give it a try. It should help solve some of these problems.

i got the worksharing monitor installed but it doesn't seem to give me a pop up notification or anything when i am placed a request. i do have the alert when placed request box checked in the options.
anyone have this problem too? or does anyone know how to solve this?

Seems like others are having this problem as well (see similar post). Has anyone filed a Support Request on this yet?

Both users need to be running worksharing monitor and have the options selected...just in case that might be the issue.

Worksharing Montior doesn't work for project files with periods in the filename. So make sure that the period before the file extension is the only period present in the filename.
