AutoCAD 2009 - Double click MText to edit in place

In version 2006 I can double click on m-text and the formatting editor box appears and I can change my text right on the screen, however when I try this same technique in 2009 I get the properties box when I double click. Is there some way to be able to double click my m-text and be able to edit it and not have to type in ddedit?

In the CUI make sure the Double Click Action fot Mtext is the Mtext Editor.

Using the system variable "DblClkEdit", make sure the default value is ON, also check "Noun/Verb selection" is check for Selection tab on Options
