    Default Why Drawing1.dwg?

When I start AutoCAD Architecture 2009 it always begins with a new blank drawing named Drawing1. I then have to open what I actually want to work on and either ignore Drawing1 or close it. In my previous version (ADT 2005) it started with a dialog box from which I selected a template, open existing, or start from scratch, etc.

I am guessing that I am missing something stupid, but I cannot find a setting for that. Is there a way to make it start with the dialog box and NOT create a Drawing1 file?
    Thanks...

Go into "options >system, General Options" in the Startup tab and see if you have "Do Not Show a startup dialog" selected, if you do, change that.

Thankyou. STARTUP = 1 did the trick. I knew it was something stupid.
