    Question Installing Service Packs

I'm trying to figure out how to install AutoCAD Architecture 2008 Service pack 1.

I have a network deployment that I understand I can add the service pack to but as far as updating existing users system - do I have them re-run the network deployment and it will only install the service pack or do I have to do something different.

I don't want to have them re-run the network installation if it messes anything up from their current settings - just want to deploy the service pack.

Can anyone clarify for me please?

    Default Re: Installing Service Packs

If you patch your existing deployment, users who have installed from that deployment will not be able to run a repair or reinstall. Not recommended.

You can create a separate deployment and patch that one for future installs if you want.

For existing users, just apply the SP itself to the install.
