CENTER WHEEL WILL NO LONGER PAN.

I was able to pan using the center mouse wheel while in a idw but then it just stopped working. I can still zoom in and out with the wheel. I have tried restarting the computer (cold boot) and have tried saving the drawing several times but still no luck.
Any ideas?

PS I forgot to state that we just upgraded to i2009 from i2008. I can still pan in parts and assembles, it's just idw's that will lock up for no aparent reason.

Have you checked your mouse wheel settings in your mouse driver?

I have a vague memory that some mice (Logitech is one that comes to mind), that had to use the setting 'middle mouse button' (I think) to work correctly.

I hope this helps, It's all I can think of.

Have you tried resetting "mousebuttonpan" option?

No I have not checked the center wheel setting because it will work all the time in any other file but idw, and in idw it will be working for a while and then for no aparent reson stop working. Aparently it is a problem that AutoDesk is aware of I've just found out.
