Part Builder - Autolayout

I am trying to create a structure that does not insert about its center. It is a simple rectangle shape that I want to insert on one of its edges. When I change the insertion point to not coincide with the center of the structure it starts inserting it randomly within the drawing (within 20 feet or so). Am I missing a step in defining where it gets inserted at, or does it always have to insert at the center?

Without having the part to look at it could be one of your model dimensions and how it relates to the insertion point. If you have your profile away from the insertion point that could cause a problem with the insertion.
