    Default Sweep with Parametric profiles?

Is it possible to create a sweep which has multiple profiles. I want to make a family for a door casing, and I want to be able to create types which use different profiles. It would be nice to have only one solid modeled, but I do not know how to make that work. I suspect my family will have to contain multiple sweeps each with a different profile, though I am not sure how best to do that either. I would like the latter option would also entail several yes/no parameters to select between the sweep profiles- can someone confirm this, please?
    thanks.

Short answer is NO. Longer answer is as follows:

You can create a sweep family that is parametric, but each set of dimensions can only be controlled by a type within the family. That meas, you maybe able to get creative enough to use one family with many types in it. But each item that needs a profile will have to have the correct type placed it it.

That's what you do... just nest in casing families, attach a Family Type Parameter to the placed casing, and link the height anbd width parameters. See the attached example of nested jambs.
