Excel Spreadsheet drop-down buttons in AutoCAD tables

I am using AutoCAD 2009 and trying to create some voltage drop calculations in an AutoCAD table. I have to have a range of temperatures that the end user will select. If I create the spreadsheet in excel, I can have these temperature ranges displayed in a cell by creating a drop-down list (button) from a range of cells.
Does anyone know how to accomplish the same feature in an AutoCAD table, without linking to an excel spreadsheet?

Not without some type of add-on. The AC tables are still far behind being a true spreadsheet - don't expect too much from them.

BTW, why don't you want to link?
