I told you it was lame..
yes theres a "piece" of a line that appears as a dot or dash, I'm not sure how to get rid of that.
I basically copied another linetype and edited it with the equal sign.
If you tweak with the values within the code it adjusts the start & stop points of those segments as well as offset of the text. I don't know those off the top of my head, I usually use trial and error.
Good Luck Dude..

Hey I'm hoping for a little of that magic here too, we have a couple of linetypes that we need to modify, however we don't have the .lin file to work with, I'm hoping that one of you bright sparks could 'reverse engineer' them for me, I've had a go, but my experiance on custom linetypes just isn't up to it....drawing attached with them...
for these linetypes why is no one using a shape file? If you make a shape that is ===> or however you want it to look then you just make it repeat over and over with .0001 of a dot between. Plotters won't plot the dots and they are barely visable on the screen. I've used this for several different line types. An example being a demo line which places // // over an existing line type.
I'd be happy to help out if you're not familiar with the shape files. Attached are a couple linetypes in a pdf.
