I'm afraid not. You have to place the dims one at a time. Continuous dimensioning is usually bad in mechanical drawings (because of tolerance stack up), so it's not been a hot button issue.

Actually there is... There are several non-supported add-ins supplied with Inventor (think Express Tools...) They are part of a standard installation and can be found here:
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2008\SDK\Tools\Users\DrawingTools"
They can be a bit tricky to get used to. Place the first dimension by selecting geometry (points/corners will highlight with an almost invisible green dot). Once the first dimension is created, keep selecting geometry to place the chain. Don't forget to right-click "Create"
