Default Copy Clipping Viewports and Using Sheet set manager.

If My has just started working with the sheet set manager in Autocad 2009 and I have a few question. I know how to add model views to a sheet and then clip the viewport for the required area. If i need to create a new layout view in a sheet how do i do that (ex an enlarged plan on the same sheet)? If copy clip a viewport from one drawing to another, why doesn't that show up in the drawing on Sheet Views tab? Is there a way to name this view?? The reason I ask is that in our office one discipline typically sets up the a viewport that the other will copy clip the view ports into their drawings. Now if i want to use the fields Viewportscale and ViewTitle in our view label block, I can not if there is not a view on the sheet.

    Please Help.

You end up needing to place the second viewport the same way you did the first one, then clipping it the same way you did the first one. The SSM will not add another copy of the x-ref if that x-ref already exists, but will create a second view in your list. Make sense? Then you can rename the views independently, as well as control layers independently. Copying viewports to other drawings is not good, as the SSM will maintain the link to the other drawing file causing problems when you try to rename it. Be sure to place a new view for each one you need on each sheet. It's a Little tedious, I know, but it works.
