    Default Civil3D for who?

Our office is transitioning to Civil3D. We are experiencing problems with our "more experienced" engineers being able to plot from their acadLT (2004) programs. It is my understanding that with 2008 one doesn't want to save to an earlier version. What software or changes to the engineers systems would be recommended? I would hate to think that each would need a full blown civil3d platform to plot and take some measurements.

Why not update them to ACAD 2008 and just give them the object enablers? Then you can keep C3D for the designers.

or install ADR 2009, and save DWF versions for the engineers to view and review. Giving an editor to non C3D people is risky. it's awfully easy to corrupt objects and break linkages just by erasing the wrong thing
