    Default lines non-coplaner

    can't fillet or trim lines (which are in same z-plane); getting comment: 'lines non-coplaner'.
    what's going on?

    check the UCS. sometimes that has messed up my z-values before - not sure why, though.

    this happens to me sometimes. Is one line a pline and the other a plain line. if so make them both the same (both pline or both plain line) then try it

    I've had that happen, too, but I get a different error message.......something about no intersection can't be found........

    Is begin Z & end Z equal to zero for both lines?

    try using the FLATTEN command on both lines?

    sounds like one of your lines are at a different height than the other (Z + or -)

    I thought the OP mentioned in his first posts that the lines are on the same Z plane.........so would flatten do anything for that instance?
