Now this would be nice... Go ahead tell me it already exist... or a way to do it...
well, no, it does not exist, but easily done:
1. Select All Istances.
2. Isolate Elements.
3. Click away to deselect all.
4. Drag window to select all in current view.
5. Reset Temp. Hide/Isolate.
6. press CTRL+left cursor key (to select previous).
better than nothing....

Well.... That is just what I hoped for... someone to tell me it was possible... and that makes perfect sense to me... I can see how that works...
Thanks!
Well, I just found a glitch to this idea... It works find with elements, objects and text.... but when I attempted to select a type of Keynotes and isolate all elements off that keynote... I got a blank screen... I even tried different types of keynotes that I have within the project... I tried isolating the category and got the same results...
So for some reason Keynotes want to be an exception to the isolation rules...
They are one of the elements I would like to select and delete on one of my plans... with out deleting all the instances within the drawing and without having to go through one at a time deleting the tags...
That is what I am about to do... because I am running out of time... after all... I can't just sit around... Work just keeps rolling on as I learn and as I try to get these things figured out...
Can you select everything in the view then filter out all but keynote tags?
And in so doing prevent the ability to select all the same type of tag within one view... giving me no way to remove the tags from one view in an easy way...
This would leave me back to my first post... It would be nice to have the ability to select all instances within the current view... directly... not with an extra step to get there... especially since the step doesn’t work for everything...
