Is there any way to label (to make parametric) an arc length dimension?
Please help if anyone have any solution.
Do it with a formula, given a radius and angle?
Thank you.
But my question was to label an Arc length dimension.
Is it possible?
If by 'Label' you mean dimension, yes - just dimension arc length. Pick the arc, specify point to start dimensioning then point to end dimensioning.
If you're talking about tagging it from a family, it'll have to be a shared parameter. And you'll have to make a custom tag for that parameter.
If else,
We (at least I'll) need more description of 'label.'
Edit: I just realized that you were posting in families...so you meant "label" assign parameter...
You can't assign a parameter to the length (in in/ft/m), but you can assign a parameter to the arc's angle. It's tricky to get the angle, but if you select a line that represents the arc, you can toggle the temp dimension into a permanent one. Then assign that to a label. See attached family...
