Default Multiple Connectors on Single Face?

How do you place multiple pipe/duct connectors on a single face of an object? (I'm creating an AHU family and I would like to put the hot water supply and return on the same side of the coil section) Thanks.

you have to plane host them instead of center on face. Then you must dimension them and constrain if needed (if the family is meant to be dynamic)

I think it ends up being easier just to make a small nub and place the connector centered on that. See the screen shot.
