Need help converting trimble dat format to fbk format

I have total station trimble elta 3600 the file format is dat format and i don't know how to convert it to fbk format
can any one help me?
How I can convert it to .FBK ( the feildbook file)?

You can search the internet for a program called stinger connect. It works pretty well and will convert just about any data file to a .fbk.

i try it but it's not support dat file such i ask for

We use a Trimble 5600 and I have not seen this format. If you are using Civil3D2008, there is a special Trimble pulldown you can load that does not instal by default. But this may not help with this format.

I hate to say that you are probably going to have to go back to the source to get the format converted.

I would suggest calling Trimble to see what programs (or style sheets) they have for converting their data into an FBK file. I called them about a month ago for the same reason (different file type) and they were very helpful.

We use the Trimble Link to create the fieldbook straight from the data collector. You can get Trimble Link from Trimble.com and you will need a key to register the software. It is free and works really nice.
