Review and Manage 2009 nwc not compatible?

I'm getting questioned by my other coordinators about an error to the effect of invalid version or some such message when they try to open my cache files (from v6) in v5 Roamer.

I haven't been able to find a way to export v5 cache from v6 yet, although when I envoke nwcout from cad I have an error and choice of v5 or v6. V5 fails without any action and v6 isn't compatable for my team members.

Is the nwc really not backward compatable???

The only way I see possible is open the nwc in NW2009, do a save as and select NavisWorks 5 nwd, no option for nwc
