Revit Link Visible in 3D but not Plan View?!

I was working in my local file this morning and attempted to reload an architectural link today for our central MEP model. After doing so, one of my coworkers opened the central file to save as his local, and the link was not visible in floor plan view. The link appeared to be there in the 3-D view.

We did the following:

-Checking that the link was loaded properly
-Checking visibility of link in the Visibility Graphics
-Ensuring the workset the link was associated would allow visibility
-Checking that the link was not moved; it was in fact, in the correct position, and elevation

It is tricky because it seems that the link is there, but you can't see it in plan view! All the correct view settings seem to be selected. What could be wrong?

Compare the phasing settings of the views.

Phasing was good.

Found out what the problem was though. The architectural file was not working; I tried opening the architectural file directly, and it would not let me. I had the architect give me a new file, and tried linking that in and it worked!

Whew...
