    Default mr Exposure Control animated?

Anyone know how to animate the mr PEC in Max (Design 2009) for a walkthrough scene - outside to inside?

I have the Exposure Values I need, but can't seem to animate the values with the set key feature....The values just return back to the previous numbers when I scrub to a new frame. Has anybody done this successfully?

I don't think exposure is something you would want to animate in an animation. That is something better left for a compositing application in post. Combustion, Toxic or After Affects would be able to handle that.

Thanks for the reply...I was hoping this wasn't the answer however - I've heard of the EV in mrPEC being animated successfully but haven't had any luck doing it myself.

Compositing is a whole other deal seeing that I would have to purchase more software to supplement the already flexible 3dsMax design engine. It just seems like asking a little too much in my situation - already I've purchased the RPC subscription so that entourage can be part of my scenes.

I realize that complex, high quality scene development and production can demand the supplemental products (3rd party or not) on the market, but this is putting large limitations on some (for example students or individuals attempting to fully develop their own designs).

Don't mean to go on a rant, just seems like a new dilemma each day.

    Hi,

Whilst the compositing option is definately the route with most control,
the Mr Photo Exp can very succsefully be animated. Just depends what
    you need/want.

I'll have to look into this but i seem to remember something about being able to animate between scene states.
