    Unhappy Hotkeys vs Shortcut keys

Is there a Hotkey file that is separate to the configurable shortcut key file?

I configured my shortcut keys, and for the most part they work, and I do have other single keystroke assignments that work nicely, but this one is being annoying, and I can't find anywhere in my assignments that it is getting it from.

You will need to remove the s from shading with edges. I had a similar issue and that is what I found that allowed my shortcut to work.

That isn't the only one, I have T doing thin lines, and that's definitely not defined in my keys, A was also coming up with something.

Copying the wanted command to the front gets the ones I want working, but I can't for the life of me find where these ghost commands are coming from

Hmm, are you sure that the file is being edited correctly? I would suggest trying to get a hold of the shortcut highway if you still can't resolve this issue.

Single letter keyboard shortcuts work but they "harm" any other shortcut that starts with the same letter. When you type a single letter watch the Status Bar. Revit recognizes the letter as the start of a "hotkey". If you type a second letter and it matches a defined shortcut Revit "fires" the command. If you use the arrow keys you can "cycle" through all the commands that have keyboard shortcuts that use the first letter you typed. If you find one you like you press Space Bar or Enter to "fire" the command.

I find that a three letter combination works better without messing up shortcuts like single letter shortcuts do. I double up the first letter...like XXR or MMO...

You can make them all two letters using the spacebar as the second letter making them like AutoCAD. They are quicker then.

Should I have said that about AutoCAD???

The single key shorcuts require me to either use space or enter for them anyway

Sticking the one I want in front of everything under a "priority" list works, I'm just at a loss to where it's getting the other one from, since I searched(find) for it as "T" and it found nothing in the file.
