    Default AutoCAD Certification Exams

i've started looking into the basic certification exam for AutoCAD Architecture and had a couple questions - is there a practice / sample test somewhere online i can look at before spending the money for the real deal? if not - once i take the test and if i don't pass it, do i have to pay a second time to take it or are there multiple shots built in? skimming through the literature on the autodesk site it doesnt look all that complicated but i dont want to get hosed on a question about features that we are not using fully. while $150 isnt a huge amount of money, its enough that i dont want to have to spend it again.

    thanks

The official study guide is sold by Autodesk press, around $80.

My understanding is that you would have to pay to take it again. Check out Matt Murphy's AU 2007 class "Secrets to Passing the AutoCAD Certification Exams" that can be found on the AU Online website http://au.autodesk.com/sessions/detail/876/. I haven't taken the exam myself, but based on what I got out of his class, I think I am better prepared.

    Good luck!

Thanks, I was interested in the answer too! It's like a little "Gold Mine"

The nice thing about the AU Online website is that you do not have to attend AU to take advantage of the resources made available. Just create an account and login, it's that simple. Unless something's changed since I originally created my account last year (prior to attending AU 2007 mind you), you should have total access to past AU class handouts and the like!
