DISTANCE COMMAND NOT WORKING

I have an issue with the DIST command being 2.5 times the real scale of the drawing. Offset works fine. But DIST dosent. What variable am I missing.

What is weird is it works on one computer and not the other.

My first thought was that something was set to metric, since 1" = 2.54 cm. I don't know how that would happen, though.
I know you can have a multiplier for you dimensions, but that shouldn't affect your distance command.

Does this happen for every drawing, or just one?

Or maybe it's an imperial drawing being xreffed into a metric drawing?

Can you post an example of the offending drawing?

Does that one computer have variables being set when opening drawings like in the acaddoc.lsp? Metric templates?

AECDWGSCALESETUP set to metric units?
