Default Autocad Commands mysteriously become unknown

Button bar commands (ex. MTEXT) have become unknown commands, along with other commands, it varies randomly on which command is unknown.

Sounds like your menus are not loading properly, or unloading. Has your profile been changed?

Also consider a overzealous anti virus program or registry cleaner.

...as well as perhaps a jokester in the office undefining commands in acad.lsp, acaddoc.lsp or elsewhere.

Yeah! I know what you mean. I came across this nastly little (but funny) lisp routine, a few years ago. (screwed.lsp & unscrewed.lsp (I'll upload this later)) that replaces most of the commands with whitty one liners, such as TRIM "yes I have lost some weight lately" etc.

However my favorite office jape, was in the past when mouse's had a rubber ball, instead of the current light sensers. I remember watching the boss for about half an hour spitting venom, because his mouse wasn't working. Some jokester borrowed the rubber ball. LOL.

That is a great trick for cad class when bonus points are awarded to the first
student to finish the drawing correctly. All the mouse balls are hidden inside a box
somewhere in the room. Except mine of course!
