    Default Leader attachment....

Is there any way to specify where the leader attaches to a tag? I was trying to add a leader to an elevation symbol on a reflected ceiling plan. Instead of attaching to the end of the line in the symbol, the leader stops down by the text and "floats" beside the tag.

    Any ideas???

    Tony,

The leader always will look for the geometric center of the tag. That said, let's say you have a tag that shows 3 lines of text (3 rows), the leader will attach to the center row text. But you want the leader to be attached to the first row text. The workaround is to add an invisible line on top of the text, so the leader will consider that as part of the geometry and then the geometric center will be above. Playing up and down with the invisible line will make the leader attachment go up and down too. The invisible line will show in the family, but won't show in the project.

    I hope it helps.
