Default Adding a vertical line to a surface.

    Hi

I need to indicate the position of the existing road restraint systems on a series of cross sections for analysis by the engineers.

The surveyor for this scheme only picked up the ground level so I am thinking about just adding a vertical line within the survey surface.

What would be the best way of doing this?

Should adding a feature line to the surface produce what's needed

    Many Thank in Advance

You can not add truely vertical data (i.e. infinitely large slope value) to a surface The way the math is done to compute the surface, it just won't work. You can add a VERY steep line to a surface but it can't be vertical.

And, yes, use feature lines. Just make sure you understand sites before you do this.
