Default hiding window removes the opening for the window as well

    Hi,
If I am in a 3D view and hide my windows the opening is still maintained in the 3D view. But when I try to hide the windows in plan view the opening for the windows is not maintained. Are there anyway I can hide the windows but still show the opening in the wall.
    I use RST2009

    Thanks
    Jonas

Most likely thing is your cut plane isn't intersecting your openings.

You should be able to hide the windows with VG (set them to not display) rather than hiding the objects, and the openings will still show, providing your cut plane goes through them.

can you hide them by changing the view range?

    Hi,
My problem was that my cut plane was only set at 300 above floor level and hence the reason the window opening disappeared when I were hiding the window.
    Cheers,
