NavisWorks Manage 2009 License

Can you transfer a standalone license/install to a network install? Basically we got a laptop that had a network install and was hooked up to the network for our network roaming license. We need to take that laptop to the field and will be using a standalone license from another office. The laptop isn't accepting the Portable License Utility transfer from the standalone.

I think we need to reinstall NavisWorks as a standalone on the laptop.

Why not just borrow the network license? Unless you need to use the network license in the office while the laptop is away.

Borrow is available under Help, License.

Didn't think of that, but the network license will be used in the office while the laptop is away.

Then you need to do an uninstall/reinstall. <blech>
