Unique Railing

I've run into a project that has a unique railing that I'm not sure how best to approach building. I'm open to any suggestions that people may have.

I will suggest two approaches:

One is to build each panel as one baluster family (by panel I mean everything that's in between each post). This works better if you have fixed distance between each post.

The second option that might work for you, is to create it as a curtain wall. Then you have more control over the curtain grids (both horizontal and vertical). You will have to create each panel as one curtain panel (here, by panel I mean each piece from the 3 stacked objects that forms the railing). The mullions from the curtain wall would be the posts and the top rail...

To clarify, using the curtain wall as rail trick won't work on stairs, ramps or other inclines... right?

Not as easy as if it is not sloped, but you can always do the following:

If creating a curtain wall by drawing it as a wall, you can edit the profile to make it follow the slope. Then when adding the curtain grids, select the curtain wall and rotate the curtain grid as you want.

Looks like the panels alternate as opposite hand, is this true? Also, are there any inclines where you plan to use the railing. Think I'd make two panel sections (opposite hand) and simply alternate the panels between balusters.

Yes the pattern alternates. If I were to make a baluster family would anyone have suggestions on how to "fill" the left over space on either end?

The "designer" didn't think about what happens when this assembly is on a stair. That is still in the process of being designed (or redesigned as the case may be) by someone else.
