What do you guys use for your Control Joints in walls....I don't want to model it. Because with the line weights activated, reveals don't show clearly (unless there is a way to show single lines)

you can use Model lines if you only need/want the single line in your views
i'm experiementing with using a line based family so taht I can see it in other views as well. working out okay so far
I use split face and the linework tool

I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy it!
Revit User Phase 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 5, 4.....
Here are a couple I built for Vertical Tiltwall Panel Jt. One for full panel joints and one for ends. Fully adjustable with voids so the show up in plan, elev and Sections. Working on Horiz types now. Will Post when done Enjoy
Use Model lines--which attach to walls, and show in all views.
Cheers.......
I split the walls, and set the ends to Disallow Join...
You could try this...(it's a bit fiddly)
Use a wall sweep instead of a reveal to create the joint.
Set the sweep material to be transparent (to give the impression of a reveal in 3D).
Position the outer face of the sweep just outside the external face of the wall.
Under Object Styles, create a new wall subcategory, call it Wall - Reveal.
In the properties of the wall sweep, change the subcatergory to Wall - Reveal.
You are now able to alter the line characteristics of your wall joint.
To make it less prominent, change the line color to gray instead of black.
