Sanping to objects in an xref

For some reason I cannot pick to objects within an Xref. I have been able to before; have I turned something off accidentally? I am trying to pick to the intersection of a gird line (In the xref) and a wall line (in the drawing). Thank you

Is your snap is on (F3) and settings are right (intersect)? also try Regenall.

Yes my layer 0 is on

Yep snap is on and regenall doesn't make a difference. I'm thinking it's a system variable that I've turned on or off?

Here's something I found. It's very unlikely that it's the problem, but you never now. It has to do with some third party apps creating some "old fashioned heavy" polylines, not the new lineweight ones. You can't snap to them, apparantly.

Like I said, it's a stretch, but have a look.

Ha! It'll start again. Might as well figure out the reason now instead of later.

Sometimes intersection are fake. Like if the line intersects on arc or circle and even regen could not help. Also crammed full drawings.
