I am trying to make a block work, what i need it to do is count in numerical order as it is copied. For example I make a block called F and when it is inserted it will say F1 as i copy or insert again it would F2, F3, etc.... please help

I copy the block, then later run a lisp routine to number incrementally, such as the one attached.
we were doing the same but the block is in paperspace and it is on multiple tabs (up to 46) and the issue we hit is that a number gets missed or duplicated, thanks for the reply if you have any other ideas please let me know thanks
Head over to the programming forums. Having done a little programming in the past, I don't think it's a difficult problem but there are people over there who know.
