    Default remember in auto cad......

    how you could xref something ?......is there a way to do that in revit....i have a floorplan and i want to trace over it and offset from floor, slab edge for footings ....i could export plan to acad then reference that one in i guess....afraid of moving a wall or something.....suggestions???

    Are you looking for an Underlay? In the View Properties of any plan view, you can select an underlay. It will show up grey on the screen. It can be any level in your project.

    thanks....i have used the but wasn't thinking of it for the foundation plan i need.....just tried it....works just like i need, thanks....
