Found the very same thing in Florida. While the state code allows for a CAD generated seal, we just had an electrical inspector reject the drawings for not having the embossed seal on them.

That is true in Texas.

Fair enough. The P.E. should read and evaluate sections 137.33 and 137.35 or the Texas Engineering Practice Act and Rules and come to their own conclusion.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but Michigan does not allow electronic PE seals, as we have been required to use wet seal for all Michigan dwgs.

We need a Tennessee Engineer seal. I have the DGN format, but it just isn't translating properly into DWG format because of the odd font and weird little graphic in the middle.
