Summary: The ability to customize the crosshairs by adding additional lines running parallel to the main set
Description: Being able to customize the cross hair other than changing the size or color by being able to add additional lines running parallel to the main set both vertically and horizontaly. Also allowing the custom lines to be set at whatever distance the user would like them to be. These lines would also be available in both model and paper space without having to setup each area differently - possibly make them associative to whatever scale is being used for the window. If it would be possible to include the ability to use the object snaps tool with them would be an added plus including for them to be able to toggle the snap feature on and off per what the user would determine.
How Used: This would greatly benefit and help the user(s) that place dimension lines and other items free hand with an approximate look of uniformity while using acad. It would allow the user to create this look of continuity in their drawings by keeping these various items spaced evenly and quickly when doing repetitive work that would/does not require complete/total accuracy for placing them. This could benefit someone in landscaping or similar field without a doubt.
