Description: PROTECT INVISIBLE OBJECTS

I would like AutoCAD to prevent invisible objects from being selected by "all", Filter, Qselect, etc. It is too easy, after using an AutoDesk-supplied tool like AecHideObjects or toggling the (assoc 60) value in LISP, to move or erase objects you can't even see. The only operation allowed on an invisible object should be to make it visible.

How Used: As our 3D assemblies get more complex, and our presentation requirements more demanding, the ability to selectively turn objects off for shorter or longer periods, without changing their position or layer, will be increasingly useful. The mechanisms currently available, however, make SEVERE DATA LOSS not just possible, but likely.
