Migration from AutoCAD 2006 to 2009

I am researching known problems, pitfalls and bugs with migrating Autocad 2006 to 2009 trying to avoid any work flow issues during and after the upgrade. I am also running 2008 CadWorx and will upgrade to 2009 at the same time. Any info is appreciated!

Hi don.rogers. Not sure what you're asking. Are you looking for anyone's problems, bugs, etc. reports during migration?

Start from scratch - profiles, CUI files, pgp files, everything except your own LISP/VBA support routines (and go over those with a fine-tooth comb). There are enough changes between the two versions that it isn't worth trying a "migration". Check all of your third-party programs and object enablers, as all of those will also require upgrading to 2009-compatible versions as well. CADWorx is much more tolerant of version changes than many other programs. Its also a good opportunity to weed out any systemic problems.

Don't forget to get the available service packs and hotfixes as well.

Yes I am looking for any and all problems before we deploy 2009.
