Can't Notch or Trim

I can't select curved frame to Notch frame 1 to frame 2
or Trim frame 1 to frame 2.
Because it is curved or...?
Please help

Zip and attach your files here. I think you will need to edit the part within the context of the assembly using Copy Face from the trimming part as a surface and then Sculpt with the cut option.
