Bar joists bearing on precast panel...

I'm having trouble getting my 18k4 bar joists to show correctly on my drawing.

I created a beam system to show my bar joist @ 5'-0" o.c. they look fine in plan, but when I cut a section, the ends of my bar joists are shown extending 6" into the precast panel.

Beacuse the precast panel extends up to form a parapet, I was wanting my bar joists to stop at the face of the precast, and sit on bearing angle.

Is there a way to get my joist to stop at the face of the precast? And how can I show a bearing angle with an anchor into the precast panel?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Right click on the joists to change (or click "Select All Instances" after selecting the first one if it's all of them). Then click on "Element Properties". Under the "Construction" parameter, change the "Start Offset" and "End Offset" to the value you need to back up the ends to clear the panel. Use a positive value, as it appears to work back into the span at each end.

I tried your solution, and the problem is the start offset, and end offset, are gray, when the bar joists are part of a beam system. However, when I un-pin an individual bar joist, then I'm allowed to change it's start/end offset. So that's what I ended up doing. I didn't un-pin all of them, I just un-pinned the one that was shown in my building section, so now it looks correct.
