    Default LT 2007/2006 DWT incompatibility

ACAD LT 2007 and LT 2006

I have created drawing templates for use between two offices, using ACAD LT 2007, and saving down to LT 2000, however, LT 2006 users are not able to open these files. They can open the .DWG files without a problem, just not the .DWT in 2000, or even 2004 format)

Does anyone know why this would be.

    TIA

DWT is just a file extension. The file format is the same as DWG. If you rename the DWT to DWG, can they open it?
