Default .pdf plotting in 2008 Help

I know this is like chassing your tail. but I just want to for some crazy reason to use the built in .pdf writer that comes with Acad 2008. I try and I try and I still get some crazy things. For example I tried to print a 24x36 and it previews corectly but it offsets it (which crops the print) about 3/4" up and 3/4" to the right. I keep messing with the print margins and I manage to get it to preview badly but it prints ok. is there a procedure that will point me in the right direction to get both of them correct.

P.S. dont get me started on 30 x 42 prints haha

    Thanks in advance

In my experiance, the PDF driver in AutoCAD can not have 0 margins. I've found manually setting your X/Y offsets to offset your plot to the negative of these margins results in a correct plot but and incorrect preview. Frustrating but it works.

Sadly I'm not kidding. Other PDF drivers including the actual Adobe driver have other issues. The adobe driver plots wipeouts black and also must have a margin though it can be very small.

not to be lazy but do you have any of the quadrants to share for the 24x36 and the 30x42 sheets?

They won't be of much help. It varies by title block sometimes. Depending on if there is text eblow the line, how big the titleblocks margins are. Etc.
