Default ANYONE have any luck converting 3D MEP to DGN

I am looking for a way to convert a 3D MEP Duct and Pipe drawing into a 3D DGN file for Microstation or Bentley Building systems...

I have tried a zillion work arounds, DGNOUT, etc.. etc.. and nothign works. Either everythig is blocky, or doesnt show up at all.

Even saving down to DXF or a earlier version of Autocad doesnt do it.

FInd an attached file of our 3way valve station.. its a part of what we want to convert..

Have you tried the 3dsout command, opening that file and exporting it to a DNG. The 3d elemnts are essintials exported to 3d masses. This command is a avalable as a download from Autodesk's web site

    THANK YOU !!!

I was looking for a easy export like that.. why it wasnt in MEP2009 to begin with is beyond me.. but at least now we have a way to send files to Microstation users for coordination.

Do you have to have 3D Studio Max for this to work? I have downloaded the 3dsout file from Autodesk and executed the program but every time I try and import the 3ds file into autocad mep it gives me a fatal error
