Default Level and Grid lines -> Send to Bottom

    Hi,

Is It possible to have the Grid and Level Lines "moved" to the bottom i.e. they are not printed on top of everything ells? I think I read something about this somewhere ells and if I recall it correctly you can't - I guess I just want it confirmed by the gurus on this forum.

    Cheers
    J

There is no such setting for level and grid lines.

You can only edit the extents and pull them back from the building if you don't want them going over geometry.

Grid lines in 2009 can contain gaps.

I have set our grid lines to have a grey colour so they are not standing out to much (I guess this comes from how we have our Grid Lines set up in Autocad).
On 1:100 Layout for example they are printed on top of the geometry. See attached images. The obvious workaround is to use a thinner pen and not use grey as the line colour.

    Cheers,

We simply add a general note to each plan sheet:

    Note:
All instances where walls appear to be missing, contractor to actually provide a real wall. Owner to confirm with Autodesk prior to construction of actual invisible walls.

    :-/
