Lightbulb Third party developers for Revit - steel structures

For many years now we use Autoplant structural as third party software on top of Autocad for 3D steelstructures. Everything works fine but now we want to use Revit Structure in the future also for our steelstructures. I know that Robobat developed some tools to create reinforcement in concrete for example.

On the other hand, has autodesk the intension to develop the steelstructure-side of Revit to a more detailed level in the future, specially connections?

    Thanks.

I would take a look at the AutoCAD Structural Detailing package that comes with the Revit Structure Suite. This contains to ability to do detailed 3D Steel models with connections and is an add-on package to AutoCAD 2009.

For what you are talking about doing this would be a better solution.

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest of AutoCAD Structural Detailing program.

Do you currently own any copy or are you a subscription customer of “AutoCAD Revit Structure Suite 2009” bundle product?

    Where are you from?

Next week we will lunch Beta testing program for the new AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2010.
I can add you to participate in ASD2010 Beta program if you wish.

    Regards,
