Thumbs up ucsfollow zoom rotates view without zoom extents

UCSFOLLOW set to 1 would be more better if AutoCAD didn't give us the new picture by zooming to extents. 99% of the time I just want the present view rotated about the current viewcenter or the pick point for the object with (ucs obj)

The 1 percent of time that zoom extents is needed, a double middle mouse click should suffice. I end up spending more time finding where I was and zooming back in than I would have with UCSFOLLOW set to 0.

How about the rest of you? Any opinions?

Try using "zoom previous". For some reason I occasionally have to use it two or three times, but it always gets back to the correct view and scale.

If you have just rotated the coordinate system with ucs entity or ucs object, then you
definitely DO NOT want zoom previous. Zoom previous is useful is when moving the
origin but why should it be needed at all?
